Then i moved with my dad in Colorado..(i lived in Texas before) and he is not religious at all.he is also a paramedic works 24 hr shifts..so while he works i stay with his best friend..After staying with her for a few months i found out she is a witch(10+ years)..and explained to me what she believes in..and the way the Wiccan religion is..And why she doesn't tell people who her or her family are because people are afraid of what they don't understand.. After i did a bit of research i asked her if she would teach me the Wiccan ways and she agreed and said she would be happy to teach me:)But the thing is my mom is coming up to Colorado for a few days to see me and i don't want to change who i am and cover up everything..my mom should except me for who i am... christian or not..So how would be the best way to bring it up with my mom that i am not catholic anymore?

I know this is probably a stupid question. I want to get into comics in September with DC renumbering their series. I don't have a comic book store or book store anywhere near me. My mom is 78 yrs old and ever since I can remember I've never done anything write. I'm 26 years old now. It wasn't a nice question, it was very cold. The "hole" is an indentation of the little lock that has been there since I've been a teenager, after I explain to her the stickyness came off so I threw it away she goes to telling me I don't respect my fathers house because I left a plate on the counter in the kitchen. EVERYTHING needs to be done my mothers way or its not done the right way and she needs to show you the right way of doing things and when you explain okay well that's not the way I do it I have my own way You get scolded. SHE DOES NOT ACT LIKE THIS WITH OTHER PEOPLE. For the whole 30 yrs she was with my father (whom passed away a little over a yr ago) she bitched and complained about everything to him. When she's mad she slams doors, cabinets etc. She has a tendency to make you feel bad because your not doing things her way, or the right way. She gets angry VERY fast. She yells ALL the time. I pay rent in the house my Dad left me and I still get yelled at for the way I keep my room or bathroom. I find myself always trying to please her and its a never ending battle because you can't please her. She has a new bf of 3-4 months and is sweet as pie to him. When I asked why she's not like that with him her response" I don't live with him". WTF?! I don't like them mostly because they are too ethnocentric and violent. I lived in Maharashtra for 2 years when I was a kid and had a very bad experience.Even the teachers were unfair to me, they used to give me less marks and they didn't stop the bullies from bullying me and when I tried to defend myself by fighting with the bullies, I was the one who got scolded. I never had any good experience with South Indians. They always used to charge us double the price because we didn't know their language and always made fun of us for that reason. People were very impolite and rude too. I've got no intention of hating half of my own country, but they so make me hate them. And worse of all is that they don't even consider themselves to be Indians and won't even try to learn hindi, it's a national language, you got to love it as yours.

I have a Memphis 12"rockford sub 250 watts rms and its dvc and is wired at 2like ohms then I have a Rockford r1 12" 150 watts rms and 4 ohms cuz its svc. I hooked both of em up to me kicked amp on the same positive and negative terminals and I have a kicker 250 watt mono block amp that delivers 140 watts rms at 4ohms and 250 rms at 2ohms .the subs sound great and pound and I have them in different boxes but I was just wondering how much power each sub is getting and is this doing any harm? The amp runs just as cool too

I tends to be a little bit slow, cant get it straight to the point and have difficulty understanding and the instructors just hurt me both physically(he pull me up from the water rapidly and my butt hit a hard metal) and mentally by scolding me.... Dr changed my due date due to..please help?

i am being monitored for high blood pressure for a month now and at my last appt i had my second nst which was beautiful but my blood pressure is still high so finally after a month they put me on a low dose of bp meds. However my doctor mentioned that i wouldnt see my due date becuase my placenta will get tired before then and he said that i would probably deliver a few weeks early but not after the 8/9 my due date was 8/16 is it right for him to make that call with out an ultrasound for development. i due have one on 7/11 but i feel he is jumping the gun..and yes i know full term is 37wks but now im just nervous being 33 or 34wks that it could happen n e time...opinions pleaseeeeeeeee

HOLY CRAP! Same thing happens with me, except it's when my brother teases me. Even though he's just messing around, my mom doesn't do much, but when I'm the one doing the teasing, she gets on my case in a flash: "Don't touch my baby!" "Leave my baby boy alone!" Two Year Old Rat Terrier WETS ALL OVER! HELP!?

I have a Rat Terrier, Male, neutered at a young age. I got him as a puppy from the breeder and he has lived with us his whole two years so abuse is not a factor in the fact that he pees all over the place. He does not even know how to sit because if we attempt training he pees on our feet, when we greet him he pees, when he is scolded for peeing he pees, I can't even kick him off my bed or he will pee on my bed. He still stays in a kennel all day. We thought for a period that he was trained and we let him stay out during the day only to find that he began wetting all over again. He is let out often. He has a fenced yard to run and exercise in so he has ample opportunity to get the wet out. Even when we come home to let him out of his kennel he wets right out the doors. My kids love him and do not want him to go anywhere and I love him too but it is just getting to be too much. We have carpet and he is just destroying it. Is there any hope for this dog? Okay, I'm not trying to knock the Bible at all, but I'm a little confused. So the Pharisees were trying to uphold the Law of God, which demanded the death penalty for the adulteress. They were doing exactly what God demanded for that particular sin. But by Jesus saying that only a sinless person can carry out God's commands for justice, he pretty much took away any possible way to enforce God's Law. So why would the all-knowing God, who the Bible claims never changes, enact the law and then scold the Pharisees for doing exactly what he asked? Because even though Jesus came and fufilled the law, he said he didn't abolish it so all penalties should still stand. This doesn't make much sense to me. Thanks in advance!

I have a feeling im not going to do good in h.s.The annoying thing is that its crowded and im 4.11.Short right.Im going to be hit by crowds and waves of ppl in halls.Second how do i find the room if i dont know where it is.Obviously h.s is serious.If your late in a class,on first day,they scold or whatever at you and say stuff like miss,i expect you to be on time.And u say,i got lost,srry.then they sey NO EXCUSE NOW FIND A SEAT.And ppl start laughin like jerks.Finally how can i make friends.All the people i knew are pretty much going to cardozo exept for like 8-11 ppl.How can i grow taller.Milk?I hate milk,so anything else TT_TT

Am I liable for lost keys in USPS mail?

I recently resigned from a job which I had keys for. So I sent them through USPS in a small envelope (I know, I shouldn't have, but I did it before reading you shouldn't and should rather use a menela padded envelope as these are hand sorted) and my ex boss said he received an empty envelope (did not state how the envelope was) and also said if he has to change the locks he has to change 100 at $8.00 each. So I'm assuming they either got lost from the envelope tearing while going through the sorting machine or someone stole them, which is very slim as only 2 people would have came into contact with them as it is automated, the person picking it up, who didn't because my family knows him and the person delivering it. My question is, am I liable for the loss even though a third party delivered it? Can they send me the bill, and do I have to pay it? Can they bring me to court? Could they some how make a claim with the post office and get compensated?

Am I really the cause of my mothers stress and health problems like she claims?

I am 33 years old and still live at home. I work a part time job delivering papers. My mother goes with me. My mother is 72. She has, recently, been diagnosed with two ulcers and a hernia in her esophagus. She found out that ulcers are caused by stress. She and I are always getting into it and argue constantly. She blames her health problems and the fact that I have her go with me to roll and throw papers on me. First I am middle class. I make $70k a year and every policy that he puts forward hurts the middle class and poor. 1)Taking away oil companies ability to take depletion & accelerated depreciation of its assets (that is the subsidies they refer too) is going to reduce oil exploration and increase the oil company expenses. This will of course cause an increase in heating oil and gas prices. Of course since gas prices will be higher that will cause increase in trucking and shipping and another increase in airfares. So now my necessities (food, heat and gas) are more expensive and if I am able to scrape together enough money for a vacation (which is unlikley) it will be more expensive too. What your moretoreum on oil drilling did not contribute to the rise in oil enough? To top it off the new EPA regualations which is essentially the Cap and Tax law that failed in Congress not only kills jobs in the clean coal industries but will raise my electricity bill as well. Now who does these increases hurt more the middle class or the Fat Cat in his corporate jet? Second in the last few months the President has played 17 rounds of golf (min 2.5 hrs) and held 33 fundraisers (lets say all time included 3hrs each) and then scolds Washington saying he has been there bc he met with each caucus for 1.5 hrs. So that is 142hrs to 6hrs. I guess the heart of this question is how can any regular working Joe like myself defend this policy. Best answer to anyone that can show me the error in my logic.

How do I know if I'm going into early labor?

I am 34 weeks pregnant, I have a ureteral stent and I've been having bad pain in my lower abdomen, Saturday it would come every 20 mins and last for about 10 mins, then got to where it was almost constant, but since then it hasn't been regular. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, but I want to have a general idea since it's at least an hour drive to the hospital, and a four hour drive to the one I would prefer to deliver at. (After 36 weeks I'll be staying closer btw) Anyways, I'm so used to my kidney/bladder hurting I don't want to wait to long and not make it to the hospital because I missed the signs. People have told me contractions feel like the baby is balling up and your stomach gets hard, but that has been happening daily since 16 weeks or earlier, so that's nothing new. What do contractions feel like when you already have pain in the kidney area?? I've been having more watery discharge, but that's the only new thing besides this different pain. I know this is all jumbled so I'm sorry lol! Thanks for any advice.

My four year old was being naughty and crouched on the ground in the store I bent over to scold her and she decided to pop up as I was leaning over. House breaking an apartment puppy?

I live on the 1st floor of a block with a green directly outside. It takes about 3 minutes to walk there. My french bulldog pup is 14 weeks old, I begun training him from 7 weeks on wee pads then when he had all his shots at 12 weeks to go outside. I take him out every hour and he is very good about doing his business. We are having few accidents in the flat as I take him out so regularly. When he does accident in the flat I scold him (but never hit). What I want to know is when will he will be able to communicate to me(by going to the front door) that he needs to go to the toilet. He is crate trained, although when we are in the same room together, the crate is next to my desk so I do not lock it. I only lock it when I go out shopping etc and his is fine. thank you

Hey Everyone! So I had my 2nd prenatal appointment today. My doctor said I tested positive for strep B. She said it it's a bacteria that I would have to take antibiotics for to protect the Baby. So she has me on Penicillin and said I will also be treated when I deliver. I was just wondering is this serious? as long as I am taking the penicillin it will be ok right? Also should I be taking probiotics with the Penicillin? Or is it ok to just take the Penicillin? Thanks!

Talk to him about it. make him see that in order to give this child the best life, you need to be somewhere where there's good healthcare support, family to lean back on, and a good supply of jobs. If he doesn't see that, then maybe you do have to give each other some space, if only temporarily. Odds are, he miss you so much he'll follow you anywhere. If he stands true and wants to stay it that town, perhaps you guys aren't meant to live together. people from small towns tend to be loyal to their towns, and if you don't break the cycle, your kid may end up in the same town, and so will their kid.

Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost a year and recently she has started to act like she wants nothing to do with me. Do you think the Bible contains the whole of God's message to people?

I am curious if you think that it is possible that God said everything that needed said to humankind in the books of the Bible or do you think that he might still be "speaking" to people in this day and age? Men physically wrote the Bible so it is hard to believe that they didn't put it into the context of the knowledge/customs of the people at that time period. My understanding is that some books of the Bible were rewritten, excluded, and probably modified to some extent at some point in history, or am I wrong about that? So the real question is do you think that God would stop speaking to us because I would think that God would want us to understand the message rather than hang on the exact words that ultimately were the work of a flawed human understanding of the message. Why aren't there prophets anymore? Does anyone else think that it possible that as humans have advanced in science and our understanding of the universe that God's message to us right now might differ from the message that was delivered to man all those years ago. I don't mean that the core message has changed but our understanding of exact details might shift. An example is "be fruitful and multiply" which would make sence in ancient times where the world didn't have 6 billion people. Do you think God might be wanting to tell us, whoa, ok you got that part figured out, now chill out on it because you are starting to destroy the rest of my creation. All opinions are welcome even for athiests that might have considered this but I don't need preached at so please just give me your personal opinion rather than quoting a bunch of Bible verses or saying God doesn't exist, (you can just pretend he/she does). So I have known this girl for a year and we were never really close friends, but she always liked hanging out with me. I have called my mom names. I have chastised her and she has done the same to me. But I went too far last month when I said a derogatory, sexual remark towards her. She spat on me last year and she has scolded me on more than one occasion. So it's back and forth but that one remark that I had said was uncalled for. I should die. Seriously. Actually the msg was frm mercedes benz (UK) that u have won 750,000GBP and a mercedes benz cls class. I replied them then they asked my full name address and all the necessary details . Again i replied all those things. then they sent me a certificate for congratulating me and they told that they have sent a diplomate from UK to deliver my prize .They are asking for 24500INR as clearing charges (to clear my prize frm custom duties.. they have also mailed me the diplomate's ID card. SHOULD I TRUST THEM????

Just how badly do contractions hurt? Do they feel like period cramps?

I had always heard the same thing that contractions were just like bad period cramps. With my labor all I can say is BS. My contractions hurt a lot worse than anything I had ever experienced before. The good news though as while waiting for an epidural they can give you pain meds thru your IV. At my hospital they wanted me to have to fluid bags before they'd give me an epidural. The pain meds were the only thing that helped. I could still feel the contractions they just made me not care.

Furniture show room not letting me know about order after paying amount?

I ordered a living room set with one of the local furniture show room. I paid the amount in full about a month back, i have the receipt also. Initially he said he can deliver it in 1-2 weeks. Its almost a month and he dint do it. I asked to let me know at least a expected date so that i can know when it arrives, he keep on saying I will call you when it arrives. I also asked him to cancel my order and refund my money back and can deduct restocking fee. But he says he cant cancel as it is a special order. I don't know what is special about it when asked he says its special. Can anyone suggest me how can i deal with this can i call any authority to complain about him. This is really annoying as they are keeping me in complete blank on whats going on without letting me know when to expect nor refunding my money back.

AND... wow..... choosing between three cute guys must be really hard so good luck. You should just continue hanging out with them and then get to know them even better and my friends always told me this. If he treats his sisters/ mother right, then he will treat you right. So, if i were in the same situation, i would continue hanging out with them and get to know them better, if they show more interest then show more interest in them but please do not date all of the them at one time. cuz then you will lose all of them. How can I explain to my friend, she hurts my feelings when she never wants to see that side?

Okay, I have this long time friend of 7 years, and lately I have been branching out to find new friends, posting on "Facebook" and talking to her about the situation every now and then. Well I was honest and told her she has been hurting my feelings a lot lately, and I would like to figure out why so. Unfortunately, she wants to carry on about a new beaux in her life as well as her sex life. Granted mines in the dumps, but, I'm making it through and not bothering her with it. So when I bring up "you are hurting my feelings, and I do have problems too, I could use a little help in sorting them out" Immediately she flies off the handle with "Oh your saying my problems aren't as bad as yours, are you trying to say I'm a bad friend??" after that instance I let things be and carried on with my life. Well now I'm being a "bad friend" and getting scolded for it. So at a last attempt to show I'm not being a bad friend and trying to work on my issues and life. I invited her to a 4th of July Celebration. Last year she had a good time, and she was more at ease then. This year after the fighting the bickering and hub bub, she asks me if I would be upset if she didn't come to the 4th of July Celebrations, because she was offered a free trip to Chicago. Well I was honest again and said "Of course I would be upset, I asked you months ago" however I was peaceful about it and said "Well once again my feelings are hurt, but, I'll get over it. Have Fun!!" since that she has not texted me back. So as usual, I have to be the one to give in. Other friends have told me she's not being much of a friend being so self-centered, which from their point of view that's all they see majority of the time. So I remain true and still invite her anyhow, not listening to the hub bub about her always being self-centered. I try to believe the best in her, and try to make exceptions. However I'm beginning to see that I need to draw the line somewhere, but, where???? If I don't sit and listen to her ramble for about 30 minutes to 4 hours about her problems I'm a bad friend, if I set out to find other friends and get the urge to hang out with them and not her I'm a bad friend. If I try to tell her about my problems and ask for her help with them, then I'm just plain annoying. When I don't invite her to parties, which I know she's going to bow out gracefully when something better comes up, I'm being rude and uncaring. It's almost like I'm just being tolerated. If I try to end the friendship she gets up set, if I take time out and take a breather and not text her for awhile or call her, then I'm ignoring her and being a self-centered snit. My parents repeatedly scream at me and make me feel worthless.I'm a 16 year old girl by the way My mother has temper tantrums and acts like a 5 year old when she gets mad stomping her feet, yelling, and screMing almost to the point where she is in tears. My dad sides with her and backs her up. But they get mad at me alot more them my sister. They compare me to her even though she's younger and make me feel stupid I try talking to them about that and they tell me try harder. But over the past few years it's gotten worse my mom has pinned me down on my bed and yells at me and I'm not strong enough to throw her off. My dad on the other hand yells and points fingers but only in the past few years has he been hitting me. Recently being he hit in the arm after scolding me and I fought back cause I didn't deserve it and then he persisted to use me as a human punching bag to the point where I lost feeling in my left arm for the rest of the night. I only hit him back once. I'm scared but I dont want to go to the cops just yet I want to try and be civil about this. What do my recurring dreams about pregnancy mean?

I had a dream that I was pregnant, driving my husband to a bachelor party... We stopped to visit a family member and I remember sitting at a table. When I looked down I vividly remember seeing my belly and I was wearing this off white maternity sweater that I own. I also remember getting up and getting myself and my sister a glass of water and the dream... I am not currently pregnant but this dream was so vivid, I can't help but wonder what it means... I've been dreaming a lot about pregnancy ( recently I had a dream that I delivered a fat baby boy by myself, which was also very vivid, in addition to having another dream that I was pregnant in.. This was all in the last week or two). Anyone have any ideas???

I've noticed very recently that more and more people shout abuse over the littlest of things. Now prongs are abuse, scolding your dog is abuse, leaving your dog outside for any amount of time is abuse. Don't get me wrong I would never scream in my dogs face and leave them outside but it seems like people are making things seem harsher than they are. I can't count how many times I have been told prongs are abuse which I used on my German Shepherd. Now I don't need one and he walks perfectly off leash because of it. Then there are the people who yell "bad dog" in public and some people want to assume they also beat the dog. It seems like more and more people are believing in "positive reinforcement" only now. Shoving a piece of chicken in a stranger aggressive dog isn't always going to train it. Why do you think anything but PR is being frowned on more and more lately? What do you consider dog abuse?

My son is 18 and is a register manager at Wal-Mart so I really respect his wisdom. I have no idea where he got this idea but he told me Anne Frank (as in the diary of anne frank) was buried in tight designer jeans. Since we had a weeks lesson on Anne Frank in my classroom, I told a room full of third grade students what my son told me. I ended up getting in so much trouble with the school board. Parents called in and complained that I told their kids that! My boss (the principal) told me he was beyond astounded that I would say something so dimwitted. I feel so upset at my son for this! Why would he abuse his authority and lie to me like this!? I am so embarrassed I didn't even go to work at all this week. I've just been sitting around at home watching TV, crying and having a little 'me time' (which is REEEAAAALLLLLY nice since my husband doesn't always deliver ;))

I ordered an iPhone 4 from Orange (New contract) and they sent me a confirmation email saying that my package should be delivered on thursday morning by 10 am. They also said that when they send the package out they will email me with a tracking number. I have not had an email with a tracking number as of yet. And the package is due to arrive by the morning. wondering if anyone would have any experiences like this. Or know what could be happening?
