Who thinks that school children should be forced to learn black history?

my children are white-hispanic mix.they are forced to learn a full month of black history.rodney king was not a hero to all the people of america.the man deserves a great deal of respect,but he did not contribute anything to my family.by forcing this on every body that is not black,is reverse racism.why do the blacks have to rub everybodies noses in there culture.the civil war has been over for a long time.i told my children ,if they did not wish to participate,i would not punish them.
